Smile Express FAQs

Smile Express® cases are generally shorter because the treatment is ideal for adults looking to make minor adjustments to achieve the perfect smile. Full treatment cases include corrections for more complex issues that require more frequent office visits.
If you’re 18 or older, there’s a good chance you are. When you come in for your complimentary exam and consultation, our doctors and treatment coordinators will determine your candidacy based on your smile goals as well as the complexity and length of your treatment plan.

Everything starts with a free consultation. From there, your treatment coordinator will go over your contract and answer any questions you may have, including how to access your insurance and FSA/MSA benefits, if applicable.

After that, we’ll scan your smile, and we’ll handle the rest! Once your aligners arrive, you simply pop them on, starting with set #1 and wear them for 20-22 hours a day for 1 week before switching to the next set. 

Remember that each Smile Express® treatment plan is customized. That said, generally you need to come in twice: Once to get started and once for your final evaluation.
